LSB publishes first assessments of legal regulators’ performance against revised regulatory performance framework
CILEx Regulation CEO Helen Whiteman said: “We are very pleased with the Legal Service Board’s regulatory performance assessment, published today. Our Board and staff have worked hard to ensure we continue to deliver effective regulation to both individuals and legal businesses. We are consulting on new education standards, which include reference to the quality assurance of advocates, and encourage as many responses as possible.
We have found the LSB’s transitional approach to assessing our performance more proportionate and we hope the new framework will likewise deliver on those aspirations.”
