We welcomed the recommendations of the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) in December 2016, following their market study into the provision of legal services.
We are working collaboratively with the other legal regulators through the Remedies Programme Implementation Group to develop a consistent approach to delivering the transparency recommendations.
Today we have published our plan to deliver greater market transparency. Our planned actions reflect and are proportionate to the composition of our regulated community.

Over the summer we will be developing a consultation on the transparency requirements we are proposing and this will be published in the autumn.
