You will already have had a look at the Approved Manager application form at Stage 1 but, if not done previously, now is the time to complete it. This form will need to be completed by each person who wants to be perform one of the following functions in the firm:
- An owner of the firm
- A director of the firm
- An authorised person responsible for the firm’s provision of a reserved legal service or the provision of immigration advice and services
An individual seeking to be an Approved Manager only needs to complete a single Approved Manager application form as the form itself covers a range of options.
Individuals will need to make declarations regarding any prior conduct matters. Do consider whether these will have an impact on any role you seek to gain authorisation for.

It is possible that we will need to arrange for a Disclosure and Barring Service check to be carried out on the approved managers in your firm.
