You may feel you have already been reviewing the information you have put together during the previous stages of your application, but the value in doing one last read through is not to be underestimated.
This is particularly important where there are several supporting documents and aspects of your firms’ structure may have changed during this process, so please ensure the information in the various parts of it are consistent.
Check that the application fee you identified at Stage 2 is still applicable based on your final forecast turnover figure, whether you are holding client money or the areas of law that you are going to deliver. If you are in any doubt please contact CILEx Regulation before making a payment.

We will acknowledge receipt of your application and, after an initial assessment, provide an indication of the timescale for completing the assessment and providing a decision on authorisation.
If your application is assessed and declined, we will provide you with details of the appeals process.
